Online Dating – The Scary Statistics

According to a recent survey by Macmillan Cancer, 84% of people in the UK don’t believe that online dating, despite it’s popularity, is the way to find a long-term, meaningful relationship.

The survey also stated that only 14% of respondents had any trust in someone’s online profile, and ‘bad’ dates had led to 20% of people getting drunk and 9% had faking illness or an emergency to allow them to escape!!

It’s statistics like these that lead people who are serious about their future to harness the talents of professional matchmakers such as ourselves.
