We’re delighted to have been nominated in two categories for the inaugural UK Dating Awards.
Drawing Down the Moon managing director Mary Balfour is shortlisted for both the Matchmaker of the Year and Dating Expert of the Year awards.
Mary said: “Everyone at Drawing Down the Moon is thrilled with our nominations for the UK Dating Awards 2014.
“The very fact that the awards are taking place is indicative that society as a whole is now becoming much more open about its dating habits.
“People are now much happier to say that they are using an introduction agency or a dating website in their search for love. In general, people were perhaps a bit more guarded about those sort of things when Drawing Down the Moon started matchmaking in 1984.
“The awards evening promises to be a great occasion for those working in the dating industry to get together and celebrate that progress.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in the Prince Consort Rooms of London’s prestigious Honourable Artillery Company building on Thursday, 13 November.
A panel of judges, led by dating blogger Charly Lester, will be responsible for selected the winners from those shortlisted.
