Drawing Down the Moon Matchmaking and Personal Introductions has been responsible for tens of thousands of successful relationships, marriages, and children since 1984.

Matchmaker Gillian McCallum, spent her early career searching for the perfect board members for companies owned by Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Personality fit, values and compatibility of outlook were key traits in the people she identified and selected.

Gillian is now applying the skill-set and extensive network that allowed her to identify the perfect CEO for leading global organisations, to the world of matchmaking, dating and soul mate searching.

Due to her background in Anthropology, and her extensive knowledge of dating and dating trends, she is frequently asked to speak and provide media commentary on the latest dating stories and provide her date coaching expertise to TV viewers, Radio Listeners, Magazines and Newspapers. In 2019 she featured in an interview with The Telegraph and has been quoted in The Sunday Times, The New York Times, Glamour and Vogue (amongst others) and regional press including the Metro in London.

She was invited to speak on Woman’s Hour for BBC Radio 4 with Jenni Murray, TalkRadio with Matthew Wright, BBC Radio Scotland with Kaye Adams, LBC and on regional BBC Radio, alongside appearing on RTUK. Her wider team have spoken with The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, The Financial Times, Forbes and Time Out Magazine, amongst others.

Gillian was awarded “Best Matchmaker 2020” at the International iDate Dating Awards in Miami.

In addition to being the Director of Drawing Down the Moon matchmaking agency, Gillian runs the renowned platonic co parenting company, The coParenting Agency. She was the expert matchmaker in the 2021 Channel 4 Fremantle Tv series, Strangers Making Babies.
